About AIM Academy

When your child walks through the doors of AIM Academy, their life changes forever. From the very first day, we are not just their school; we are their support system.

We work side-by-side as a team. Students, families, educators, specialists, administrators, and researchers all rally around the same dream: to help your child thrive and succeed regardless of how they learn.

Every Student. Fully Supported.

Students are known, supported, and challenged from 1st to 12th grade. Our Lower, Middle, and Upper School divisions provide a cohesive learning experience that grows with your child.

Real Stories. Real Impact.

Where Research Supports Practice

At AIM we connect research-to-practice by contributing to active literacy research on campus and using evidence-based methods to drive instruction.

Our Distinctive Approach to Learning

Upper School Bike Tech class

Named in honor of the late AIM alum and cycling enthusiast Sam Ozer ’20, Sam’s Place is the heart of AIM’s innovative cycling program. In this fully equipped, donation-supported bike shop and classroom, students take Project Bike Tech courses, work toward mechanic certification, compete on the NICA Varsity Mountain Biking team, and engage in meaningful service by restoring and donating bikes to local children.

Through hands-on learning and community partnership, students develop technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the confidence that comes from seeing their work make a tangible impact.
