Upper School Program

Small Group Math Skill Practice (8:00-9:00am)

Cost: $700

Since our Upper School Summer Seminar program is primarily focused on literacy practice and humanities instruction, we are offering an optional add-on program for math skill maintenance.  This group runs each morning before the start of the seminar program and is for Upper School students (rising 9th-12th) who are continuing to work on fluency with math facts or fundamental algebraic concepts. This is not tied to a particular math curriculum or grade level and is designed to provide an opportunity to practice core math skills during the summer months.​​

Daily participation in this program meets the summer math requirement for AIM Upper School (except for Honors classes).

Students entering Grades 9 and 10 have the opportunity to extend their day and explore their creative interests in a “can do” environment. Choose four week-long workshops from a variety of options, including STEAM, filmmaking, fishing, sports and fitness, and other adventures. *Students will choose one workshop for each week of the summer program.

Students must be enrolled in the morning enrichment program to participate in Adventure Workshops.

AIM Camp Counselors work with our elementary-age afternoon campers from 12:30-4:15 daily throughout the summer program.

Counselor Responsibilities:

• Escort small groups of students between activities
• Participate and encourage students during activities
• Help supervise students during free play

Application Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older at the start of the program
• Must participate in a low-pressure interview and attend an orientation and training day during the spring
• Must submit any required paperwork, background checks, or clearances (AIM's HR department will help guide students through exactly what they need)

Counselors can receive either volunteer hours or a small stipend payment for their time
