How to Apply

Step 1: Submit an Application

Our application is fully online and designed to be straightforward and accessible. Families will complete all sections, request feedback from their child’s current teacher, and upload supporting documents through our secure admissions portal.

Begin Your Application

The following items are needed in order to complete your child's file for committee review:

• Complete Psychoeducational evaluation (completed within the past 24 months)
• Teacher Feedback (delegated electronically)  
• Unofficial copy of your child's most recent report card/progress report
• Current Photo
• Non-refundable application fee of $100
• Records Release Form (found in the Admissions Portal)
• Speech/Language and/or Occupational Therapy Evaluation (if applicable)
• Individualized Education Plan (IEP) (if applicable)

Step 2: Admissions Committee Reviews Completed Application

Once all materials have been received, the admissions committee will meet to review your child's file to determine if AIM may be a good fit to help support your child's academic needs. 

Step 3: Next Steps

If the committee believes that your child could benefit from our program, they will be invited to spend a day at AIM shadowing a current AIM student, in order to offer them the opportunity to observe the full "AIM experience."

Students who are not considered to be a fit will be notified, and we are happy to discuss options which might be a better fit for your child's current needs. 

Step 4: Decision

Once a student has visited AIM, the committee will meet again to make their final admissions decision.
