Student Life Activities

At AIM Academy, we promote an atmosphere of social and community engagement where ties are strong and differences are respected. Through a diverse array of extracurricular activities, travel opportunities, community events, and service learning projects, students  connect through meaningful activities, shared experiences, and a strong sense of belonging.

Community Service

Service learning is an essential part of the AIM experience.

Students participate in hands-on projects that support local and regional organizations, applying their strengths to meet real-world needs. These experiences cultivate leadership, responsibility, and a deep sense of purpose — empowering students to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Extracurricular Activities

Extracurriculars are an integral part of an AIM education.

Grounded strongly in the belief that students with language-based learning differences excel in less traditional academic disciplines like the arts, engineering and design, athletics, entrepreneurship, international politics and law, AIM offers students a wealth of opportunities outside of the classroom to strengthen their talents and pursue their interests.

"Whether it’s creating in the art studio, acting in a drama production, engaging in debate, or building robots in the Makerspace, students here at AIM are offered opportunities to build upon their strengths in a comfortable and collegial atmosphere."

Middle School Creative Core Classes

The Middle School Creative Core classes are designed to help students develop an understanding of their own interests and find topics they want to invest more time to further explore.

6th grade: After engaging in the 1st marking period orientation, students are intentionally rotated quarterly through disciplines in visual art, STEAM and music.
