Student Wellness

AIM Academy is dedicated to meeting the health and safety needs of our students, faculty, and staff during the school day. We are committed to the ideals of health promotion in our administration of care in order to meet our school's overall educational goals.

Lower School Girls on the run 2025

In collaboration with the Colonial School District, AIM provides the mandated health services and programs required by the State of Pennsylvania. The district provides nursing services for the implementation of these programs.

The Academy also provides daily nursing coverage during school hours. Our nurses are members of several organizations, including the National Association of School Nurses, the Pennsylvania Association of School Nurses, the Independent School Health Association and the American Red Cross.

On campus, we currently have 7+ AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) and 3 portable AEDs for off campus athletics. Key faculty/staff members also receive CPR certification updates.

Wellness Education

Each division at AIM Academy has a dedicated Psychologist who works closely with students, teachers and our integrated services team to help develop a learning environment with tailored academic interventions for students and to monitor students' progress throughout the year. The team is also responsible for creating programming and learning opportunities for all students to support positive growth and important education for overall health and wellness.
